Day by Day

I'm determined to keep better track of our life.  I'm writing more for myself.  I want to journal and I feel that this may be the easiest way.  I don't expect anyone to read this, but if you found yourself on this page...welcome.  Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.  This is a little about me... 

Life is full and grand.  We are blessed.  My hubby, Completely Amazing Man (Who will be referred to as CAM from here on out) and myself are working 6 and 4.5 days/week, respectively.  We are enjoying nearly 2 years of wedded bliss.  I thank my Savior for bringing us together.  I never imagined how fulfilling marriage is.  It's rough sometimes but very rewarding.

The biggest reason I wanted to begin keeping better track of our lives is because I am planning to run my first "formal run" in December.  Drumroll, please...a 1/2 marathon.  I know that this is not surprising because I am the most athletic girl you'd ever wish to meet.

Kidding. 

This is definitely a stretch for me.  I've ran a total of 1 mile in one setting and that was 7 years ago in my sophomore Physical Education class.  It's going to take a lot of hard work, determination, and motivation.  For me, the hardest is motivation.

Can I get a witness?? 

If I'm being honest, I could sit on the couch ALL day if I had a chance.  I so do not want to be that person.  I'm praying for grace and strength to get up and get moving.  I feel that this whole idea of running is HIS idea anyway.  I'm so excited to see what He has in mind for me.  Hopefully the training for the 1/2 marathon will also help me to get in better shape.    I will share more about running and life later.  For now...off to train.  I have a big run coming up, ya know!
